Cheshire Cat Clinic is a small, intimate veterinary hospital that treats only cats. We are staffed by two experienced doctors and four pleasant veterinary assistants.
The Veterinarians
Charles Sodikoff DVM, MS has been in veterinary practice for over 45 years. He received his training as a veterinarian at the University of California, Davis and holds a master’s degree in comparative veterinary pathology. His experience ranges from being a director of a large AAHA veterinary hospital in San Diego, starting one of the first veterinary diagnostic labs, author of a veterinary textbook on clinical pathology, consultant to various veterinary pathology manufacturers, and finally manager and owner of the Cheshire Cat Clinic.
He is a member of three veterinary associations: the American Veterinary Medical Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Nama Atid DVM Graduated from the Koret school of Veterinary medicine of The Jerusalem University - Israel http://ksvm.agri.huji.ac.il/en/index.php in 1997. After 1 year of practice she came back to the US (Elementary school in Boston) to join Family in the SF Bay area. She has been practicing small Animal medicine and surgery in clinics in the East Bay, mostly at the East Bay SPCA Clinic and shelter. At the Shelter she fell in love and gained invaluable experience in Feline medicine and welfare. Dr.Atid has a special interest in improving the quality of life for senior cats. In an effort to find more answers for cats with chronic diseases or chronic pain, Dr Atid has Completed the Certification program in Veterinary Acupuncture at the highly regarded Chi Institute http://www.tcvm.com/ and will be offering Acupuncture services at Cheshire Cat Clinic.
Nama Lives with her son, 2 Cats (Bumbo and Gelvin) and a cat friendly Terrier cross (Oliver).
