Routine grooming of cats is easy because they usually maintain their own hair coat. Sometimes however, because of age or debility, we must deal with hair problems. We strongly discourage using scissors to "cut out" mats because usually the skin is wrapped in the fur.  The following videos may be useful if you want to groom your own cat.
